DROPS, ADDS & INCOMPLETES

Dropping a course
Students may drop a course by submitting the "Drop Single Course" or "Drop All Courses" form on the EO Online Forms System. If you drop a course through the University of Idaho's online system, you must notify EO to avoid shipping and refund errors. Students requesting to withdraw after the final deadline must petition the Academic Petitions Committee (Contact EO for details). Students will be responsible for course fees based on the refund schedule listed in the EO Calendar.

Adding a course
You may add a course or change from one course to another until the EO registration deadline. See the EO Calendar for registration deadlines. Engineering Outreach operates on a highly structured production and shipping schedule, with limited staff. If you have any doubt about a course meeting your needs, contact the course instructor prior to registering.

Incompletes
If extenuating circumstances make it impossible for you to complete your coursework on time, you may be eligible for a grade of "I" (incomplete). Both you and your instructor must agree upon the "I" grade and the deadline for submitting work. No further extensions of this new deadline are allowed, and the "I" will remain a part of your permanent grade for the course. For more information, see regulation F in Part 3 of the UI General Catalog.

To request a grade of "I," contact the course instructor before the end of the semester.
