STEPS TO CERTIFICATE COMPLETION

Read the FAQ about Certificates.
Contact the certificate coordinator to determine eligibility before starting a certificate.
If you are not a current UI student, apply online for admission to the university at http://www.students.uidaho.edu/admissions.
Submit an Academic Certificate Declaration (page 2 of the Change of Curriculum form) to the certificate coordinator for department chair approval.
See Courses Offered for course descriptions and schedule. Register online at the secure EO Online Forms System.
Use the Tracking/Verification form to record progress.
After meeting all certificate and course requirements, submit the completed Tracking/Verification form to the certificate coordinator to apply for the certificate award.

Issuing the certificate award
The certificate coordinator, in consultation with the department chair, determines student eligibility and manages the certificate award process. The academic department provides all academic advising, verifies that all criteria have been met, and issues the award accordingly. The certificate award is signed by the college dean, academic department chair, and the certificate coordinator. The department sends a copy of the completed tracking form to the registrar's office so that a notation can be made on the student's transcript.
