COURSE MATERIALS AVAILABILITY

All course lectures are delivered in two formats, online and on DVD, with identical content, showing instructors' presentations given on campus, with students in attendance. The number of lectures made available each week depends on whether the course is being taught "live" during the semester, or was "pre-encoded" (produced in a previous semester).

Supplemental course materials, such as handouts provided by the instructor, may be included with DVD shipments or posted online. Each course description page has a gray box in the upper right hand corner, with links to information about course materials for that particular course.

Visit Courses or Shipping Schedules to find links to the course description pages available each semester; each page lists the course's production date.

Live Courses
If you are enrolled in a course produced in the current semester, lectures will be posted online within a few hours of being given on campus. Your DVDs will be shipped weekly throughout the semester by Priority Mail (other options exist for international students).

Pre-encoded Courses
If you are enrolled in a course produced in a previous semester, your DVDs will be shipped in three installments for Fall/Spring courses, and two installments for Summer courses. The first installment will be shipped during the first week of the semester, and subsequent installments will be sent in intervals of approximately one month.

Online lectures will be made available in batches that correspond with the DVD shipping dates, although the first online installment should be ready for viewing by noon of the first day of class.
