HOW TO REGISTER

  1. Apply for Admission to the University of Idaho.
  2. Determine whether you need advising or permission from your instructor before registering:

    • If you are unsure that you have met the course prerequisites, contact your instructor.
    • Non-degree students need instructor permission to take 500-level courses.
    • Graduate students work with their advisers to design their Study Plan, and select courses that fit the plan each semester.
    • Students who are working toward an academic certificate must consult with the certificate adviser before beginning their coursework.
    • Instructor permission is needed to audit a course.
    • Instructor permission is needed to take a course Pass/Fail (unless the course descriptions lists it as P/F).
  3. Select a course from Courses Offered, find a local Exam Proctor, and include this information on the Engineering Outreach online registration form.

Submit the form by the deadline listed on the EO Calendar in order to avoid late fees. The EO secure online forms system allows you to safely enter credit card and payment information, review and edit information before final submission, and receive confirmation that your submission was received. All information transmitted between your Web browser and the university's secure server is encrypted via SSL (HTTPS).
  4. Review the information received by e-mail from the EO Student Services Coordinator, and contact us about any necessary corrections.
